Philip’s interest in architecture started during his childhood years, when he discovered his ability to build things by hand as well as (to his mom’s discontent) take things apart. This early exploration began to take true form in high school, when Philip took an AutoCAD drafting class that helped shape his architectural interests and inspired him to apply for a summer course at USC. He later went on to pursue his Bachelor’s in Architecture at the same university, where he recently graduated with honors. For Philip, architecture is all about balance. He believes that, amongst all the site challenges, consultant input, and client expectations, great designs are born. Through managing this inevitable chaos of the architectural process, Philip strives to find creative solutions that work for all parties involved. He also believes in the importance of balance outside of the office well-rounded architects must strive for a healthy live-work relationship with various hobbies and interests. Philip most enjoys the inventive process of design, especially during his search for inspiration through playful model making. He joined Abramson Architects in 2017, where he is working on a wide range of projects from commercial buildings to high-end residences.
