Uncomplicated Style in a Brentwood Condo

The client, a bachelor, had purchased a condominium in Brentwood that came with a rather claustrophobic layout and standard finishes. He approached the Abramson Architect interior design team to transform the space into a sophisticated and custom living space.

Walls were removed to create a spacious floorplan with a more usable flow. In the kitchen, minimal white cabinetry is accented with a dark stone on the counters that waterfalls at the edge of the bar. This approach gave the client a European-style kitchen that blends in with the overall space. The dining table converts into a full-size ping pong table, supplemented by counter seating.

To compliment the artwork of the young collector, a gallery-like space was with crisp white walls and ash toned wood floors. The light and beachy palette continues with a hint of blue in the custom sofa upholstery and accents. Masculine accents in the furniture, such as refurbished industrial wheels on the coffee table, meet the needs of the client’s bachelor pad style.

Beautiful marble work makes for a memorable modernization in the bathroom. These details elevate the space to a new level of luxury. Custom lighting throughout further heightens the design. Not pictured, a spacious outdoor deck that was tailored to fit the client’s needs. A retractable awning controls the sun exposure and trellises above the perimeter walls provide extra privacy and green scenery.
