Building on Previous Excellence

The Lucy Curci Cancer Center, located at the Eisenhower Medical Center campus in Rancho Mirage, CA, is an exceptional facility designed by Abramson Architects (Moon Mayoras). Our team had the privilege of undertaking both the original Radiation and Medical Oncology expansion project and a current expansion to convert an existing open roof deck into occupied space. This expansion, in accordance with the Eisenhower Medical Center Specific Plan Amendment III, adds approximately 5,830 square feet of medical office space to the second floor.

Building upon the legacy of our previous work, we aimed to restore the dignity and original design integrity of the Cancer Center while fulfilling its mission as a comprehensive cancer care facility. Our expertise in medical and radiation oncology, with a particular focus on radiation oncology, enabled us to create a transformative space that supports the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of patients.

The Lucy Curci Cancer Center is a one-stop destination offering a comprehensive range of services. Eisenhower’s highly trained care teams, including specialists in radiation oncology, hematologic oncology, breast radiology, and various related medical areas, provide unrivaled diagnostic and treatment services. The Center encompasses state-of-the-art resources such as the Arnold Palmer Prostate Center, Eisenhower Schnitzer/Novack Breast Center, Eisenhower Radiation Oncology, Eisenhower Infusion Center, Eisenhower Hematology Oncology Specialists, and Desert Cancer Care.

Eisenhower’s commitment to delivering holistic care goes beyond medical treatments. The Cancer Center features a healing environment that soothes and uplifts patients. With a fusion of positive lighting, ventilation, natural textures, soothing color palettes, and serene landscapes, we have designed a place that nurtures the spirit. Patients and clinicians alike appreciate our relationship-based care model, which fosters strong provider-patient bonds and enables personalized treatment plans for patients who can be among the most vulnerable and frightened.

As the Lucy Curci Cancer Center continues to evolve through a phased completion, we are proud to be at the forefront of this transformative project. With each phase, we are moving closer to the vision of a fully integrated, state-of-the-art facility that optimizes patient outcomes and redefines the standard of cancer care in the Coachella Valley area.
